What level of technical expertise is required?
To use TransLink® WebDX all that is needed is access to a computer with Web navigation software, such as Netscape or Internet Explorer, and a standard Internet service provider. High-speed Internet is recommended but not required.

How difficult is it to Use DX?
Using WebDX is as simple as using a common e-mail application. The windows-based application is easy to use and maneuver. If assistance is needed, the user manual and a direct link to contact MISG Client Services is available from every page within the application.

How will I know if I have a document?
An e-mail message is sent to your specified e-mail address notifying you of receipt of new documents. Simply click on the link provided in the message, and you will be immediately connected to the TransLink WebDX login page .

Who do I ask for assistance in troubleshooting?
Within each page of the WebDX application is a link to contact MISG Client Services. The Contact section of WebDX contains an online form for the submission of questions directly to MISG. These messages and their corresponding responses are maintained within the WebDX application with responses from MISG sent to the user via Messages under the Documents section.

Can I implement WebDX with my other trading partners and is there a cost for doing so?
Once your account is established, you may add trading partners at no additional cost. Simply contact MISG and we will work with you to establish trading relationships with all your desired business partners.

Will it integrate to my back office system?
The WebDX system was built with flexibility and your needs in mind. MISG can work with your company to develop a custom solution to integrate WebDX data into your existing back office system. To learn more about what is available, contact MISG sales at 919-406-8829.

How secure is my data within the WebDX application?
The application is password-protected and requires you to enter a unique username and password to gain entry to your account and transact business. Additionally, the sent and received X12 documents are converted into an encrypted form for storage on the WebDX server.

My company uses TransLink (or Ansinet). Can I exchange documents with one of my trading partners using WebDX?
Absolutely. TransLink WebDX enables you to exchange business documents within your trading community network as well as on other networks. In fact, TransLink WebDX enables you to exchange electronic business documents with virtually any trading partner.

I have business partners on competitive VANs. Can I use WebDX to exchange documents with them?
WebDX enables you to extend your EDI capabilities to business partners using other service providers. MISG provides this interconnect service to you at no additional charge. Simply contact MISG and provide your business partner's name and contact information, the name of the service provider your business partner uses and your trading partner's EDI address and EDI qualifier.
